Running from these problems won't solve anything.
A vinyl spinning on the turntable,
as he smokes his last cigarette,
wondering where he's going,
and why he's going there.
Thinking about how it was better,
when he was just fourteen,
enjoying life and pretty carefree,
not knowing how good life was.
Sitting with a knife in his pocket,
and the window locked,
cause he knows it's better
than having someone come in.
Wondering how he got here,
and why he ever stayed,
and why he's leaving,
and what the future holds.
No one realizes,
he's just as insecure,
with his own fears and problems,
as everybody else.
He knows the truth,
but doesn't want to listen,
he has seen the lies,
but knows where those lead.
Running from these problems
won't solve anything
but thats what he
is going to do anyways.

Kind of Inspired by Ralph Steadman, at least in terms of lettering.
